My obsession for Edwardian Era started with Downton Abbey and that’s how I landed on this blog which constantly feeds my obsession! Many thanks and yes I’d love to get the dvd.

Would absolutely love to win the DVD set. Reading “Below Stairs” right now so I’m obsessed with the era too!

I’m throwing my sister a Downton Abbey-theme bridal shower this month, I found a *perfect* Edwardian dress for $12 at an antique mall the other day, and a Downton DVD set would complete the trio make it the perfect Downton summer for me.

I can’t tell if my last attempt at leaving a comment worked or not, so I’ll try again:

Happy anniversary of your blog! I really enjoy the detail and insight of your posts.

Really would love to be the winner of a set – need a place to retreat from the stresses of everyday 21st century life!

Ack! I subscribe to your blog on my kindle as well, and I was furiously syncing it constantly to make sure I didn’t miss the first giveaway. 🙂 Thanks for all the info on Edwardiana, so much appreciated!

To win this would be the best and the worst thing ever. It’d be the best because I could watch Downton 24/7 and that would just be brilliant but it’d be the worst because school will start in a month and I won’t want to do anything except watch Downton all day. Still, Downton’s worth it.

My dear mother loves Victoriana, but I have always loved the Edwardians. She’s never understood me, but you do!!! Great blog!! Thank you.

This blog is so-o-o interesting and informative! I think it would be a boon to win these DVDs. I could loose myself in Downton Abbey until season 3 begins!

What would the Dowager Countess think of all of us clamouring (please note British spelling) to bask in her pithy dismissals of the middle classes…

  14. says: Ashlee

Downton Abbey is my favorite show! I’m excited to have found a blog that allows me to continue living in the Edwardian Era!

  15. Happy Anniversay. I am a fan of your site. Just love the articles and posts and pictures. What a fabulous give away.

As for Dowton Abbey, I love that series, I’m utterly hooked. I was hooked on Upstairs Downstairs too, years ago. I love that era. I would so love a DVD of that series.

I avoided Downton Abbey for ages, but eventually succumbed and am now waiting for series 3 as eagerly as any other fan. Thanks for the giveaway.

I love your blog and how informative it is. Thank you for doing the research for me! When I have a question, EP precedes google.

I just came back from Costume College, and we spent the day in the Fabric District in LA today. I was looking all over for fabrics to make more Downton Abbey dresses. I would love to be able to look at their costumes over and over again.

    Dear fellow Edwardian Fan,

I just found out about your blog and I absolutely adore it! I love the elegance and grace the women had back in the day and also in Downtown Abbey. The men were kind and had manners in front of a lady…how wonderful. Anyways, thanks for the giveaway and I will be reading the rest of your articles.

    Sincerely,
    Retro Rose 🙂

I am so scared that Netflix is going to take off Season 1 of DA. If I win, I won’t have to worry and can get a good night’s sleep.

Love the Edwardian era. I am currently in the process of writing a book combining, the Edwardian era and Fairy Folklore.
